From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport
You can take a taxi from the airport for about EUR 45 one way. It will take about 30 minutes.
You can take a train from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station for EUR 4,50 (www.ns.nl) / EUR 5,50 (ticket machine) one way. Travelling time is about 20 minutes. From 6 AM intil 24 PM at least 4 trains per hour, rest of the day at least two trains per hour. This is the preferred option by guests. There are several options to travel from Amsterdam Central Station to the guesthouse: Walk, Underground or Tram. See hereafter for some explanation.
You can walk along Damrak street to Dam Square, this will take you about 5 minutes. When you come out of the station do not go left or right, just straight ahead in the street before you. On Dam Square, cross the street to the left, along the monument. Go to the Nes street. After 25 metres go the the left Pieter Jacobszstraat 22. This is the preferred option by guests.

You can take the underground line 52 from Amsterdam Central Station with final direction Station Zuid. Get out at first stop, Rokin. Take underground station exit direction Dam, turn to the right and take Nadorssteeg. Take Pieter Jacobszstraat at the next cross (walk straight ahead).

You can take a tram in front of Central Station, get out at the first stop. Tram numbers 4, 9, 16, 24, 25 (+/- 125 meter from stop to guesthouse).
Coming from outside the city follow the signs for "CENTRUM" and navigation "Oudezijds Voorburgwal 280" . You will be ending up on the Dam Square close to the guesthouse. The Guesthouse does not have a private parking space. Be aware that parking in the centre of Amsterdam is not for free, it is actually quite expensive and not easy to find a good parking place.
Tip: Park + Ride Amsterdam.
At Amsterdam’s Park and Ride (P+R) car parks, you can park your car for €8 per 24 hours (max. 4 days). If you arrive after 10.00 or during the weekend you pay only €1 per 24 hours. These rates only apply if you then travel by public transport (OV) to the city centre.
